OPERATIONAL GAP

Tier III – Asymmetric Professional Series

Duration: 4-5 Days

Most people spend their lives preparing to defend themselves.

Very few prepare to defend others.

Protecting another person requires a fundamentally different mindset.

Your mobility changes.

Your priorities change.

Your decision-making changes.

Your responsibilities increase.

The challenge is no longer surviving on your own.

The challenge is ensuring someone else survives as well.

RAVUS Solutions identified a significant operational gap.

Many individuals possess firearms skills.

Many individuals possess medical skills.

Many individuals possess tactical skills.

Few possess the ability to integrate those capabilities into a coherent protective framework that can preserve life during a crisis.

The Dynamic Asset Defender Course was developed to address that gap.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Dynamic Asset Defender Course (D.A.D.) is a comprehensive protective operations program designed to prepare students to safeguard family members, community leaders, high-risk individuals, and other protected assets in uncertain, rapidly evolving situations.

Drawing on executive protection, protective intelligence, emergency response, medical planning, tactical movement, and lessons from real-world protective operations, students learn to identify threats, manage risk, and respond effectively to critical incidents.

Unlike traditional executive protection courses that focus solely on professional details, D.A.D. adapts these concepts to the realities facing the prepared citizen.

Students learn how to protect those who depend upon them.

The course combines classroom instruction, practical exercises, live-fire training, force-on-force scenarios, medical response scenarios, route planning, protective operations, and full-mission exercises.

Training is progressive and culminates in realistic scenarios designed to challenge every aspect of the student's protective capabilities.

WHY THIS COURSE EXISTS

The people most important to us are often the least capable of protecting themselves.

Children.

Spouses.

Parents.

Friends.

Community leaders.

In a crisis, they become our responsibility.

Most people have never been taught how to manage that responsibility.

The Dynamic Asset Defender Course teaches students how to think beyond personal survival and develop the skills necessary to protect others.

The objective is not simply responding to violence.

The objective is to prevent, manage, and overcome threats before they become catastrophic.

EDUCATE – TRAIN – PERFORM

EDUCATE

Students learn the principles of protective operations, protective intelligence, emergency planning, and threat management.

TRAIN

Students develop practical skills through live-fire exercises, force-on-force scenarios, medical training, planning exercises, and movement drills.

PERFORM

Students apply those skills through realistic operational scenarios designed to validate their ability to protect another person under stress.

Students are expected to:

  • Think critically

  • Communicate effectively

  • Lead when necessary

  • Adapt to changing conditions

  • Manage risk

  • Solve problems

Success is determined by preserving life and accomplishing the mission.
