RAVUS ASYMMETRIC SKILLS SEMINAR

The RAVUS Asymmetric Skills Seminar is a two-day, high-intensity seminar designed to build, test, and validate your ability to solve complex tactical problems under extreme stress. Over one weekend, you will move from learning foundational skills to executing high-stress, force-on-force scenarios with Simunition rounds.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This is an entry-to-intermediate level seminar. However, you must arrive with a solid foundation in basic firearm safety and an understanding of how to safely manipulate your weapon systems. We will teach you the RAVUS way, but you need to know how to safely run your gear.

DAY 1 (0830–2100)

Day 1 is a continuous, rapid-fire rotation through four critical skill blocks. You will be assigned to a small squad with a dedicated Lead Instructor, ensuring constant engagement and little downtime.

2-MAN DYNAMIC CQB

- Learn the fundamentals of partner communication, threshold management, and room entry inside a structural environment.

UNCONVENTIONAL ENTRY

- Learn to bypass physical security. Master door diagnostics, mechanical breaching, lock-shimming, and other unconventional techniques.

WOUND PACKING UNDER STRESS

- Learn to provide life-saving medical care under pressure. Master tourniquet application and wound packing on simulated arterial bleeds.

ESCAPE & EVASION

- Learn the art of self-liberation. You will be taught to defeat and escape standard handcuffs, non-standard restraints, and flex-cuffs.

When the sun goes down, training continues. We transition to low light operations within a structure to introduce:

• Low-Light / No-Light CQB using weapon-mounted lights.
• Introduction to Night Vision, focusing on movement and aiming in total darkness.

DAY 2: SUNDAY (0900–1600)

On Sunday, the classroom is closed. You and a partner will be armed with Sim guns and thrown into three distinct, unscripted force-on-force lanes against live, aggressive role-players who will be actively hunting you.

DEBRIEF & SPONSOR HANGOUT (Sunday Afternoon)

After the final lane, we debrief and transition to the Sponsor & Vendor Hangout. This is your chance to grab food and drinks, swap stories with the Cadre and your peers, and get exclusive, direct access to our premium industry partners. Test high-end gear and take advantage of "day-of" discounts for our upcoming 4-Day capstone event, The Asymmetric Skills Course (TASC).

ENROLLMENT, SAFETY & LOGISTICS

Tuition: $500

Includes 200 rounds of Simunition ammunition, conversion bolts/kits, and force-on-force safety PPE.

MANDATORY SAFETY

There is a strict ZERO LIVE AMMUNITION policy for this event. No live ammunition and NO LIVE AR-15 BOLTS are allowed anywhere inside the training spaces. Your equipment will be physically cleared, inspected, and converted by RAVUS Cadre upon arrival.

REQUIRED GEAR (What You Need to Bring)

Weapon Systems:

Your personal or issued AR-15. You provide the weapon system; we provide the Simunition conversions.

Tactical Gear:

Your preferred load-bearing equipment (chest rig, plate carrier, or battle belt), holsters, weapon slings, and magazine pouches.

PPE:

Wrap-around ballistic eye protection and ear protection.

Illumination:

A reliable, high-output handheld flashlight. (Weapon-mounted lights are also highly recommended for the night block).

Sustainment:

Water/hydration pack, snacks, and a notepad with a pen. (Food trucks will be on-site Saturday afternoon.)
